How do I get involved with Project Red Line

“SO, WHAT CAN I DO?"
We are so glad you asked!
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Project Red Line?
Project Red Line is a branch of Ironguys Law Enforcement Ministries. We are seeking those who have family members or friends who are firefighters, paramedics or EMT's or anyone who has a love and passion for the firefighter/paramedic/EMT community to regularly and daily pray for these first responders everywhere in their community and/or across the globe.
Why should I be concerned?
Did you know just in the U.S. alone, there were 65,650 nonfatal firefighter injuries and 90 fatalities in 2022 according to the National Fire Protection Association.
In Australia,
Canada, Great Britain,
New Zealand, 2,900 and the United State there are 1,777,400 Firefighters, Paramedics or EMT's
How can I get involved with Project Red Line?
We are asking you to consistently and regularly pray for a firefighter, paramedic or EMT or an entire Fire/Paramedics/EMS agency in your community, state, province or country and consider mailing them the below letter.
If I do not personally know a firefighter, paramedic or EMT, how do I select one or select an agency or department for whom I can pray?
- For those who have family member(s), friends or acquaintances in the fire service, you could select one of these for whom you can pray.
- If you do not know any firefighter, paramedic or EMT some agencies may list their names on their agency websites. Just go online and choose the name of one or more first responders for whom you’d like to pray.
- Or you can contact a Fire/EMS agency by email or phone and ask them to randomly give you the name of one or more first responders for whom you can pray.
- Perhaps you were recently treated by or assisted by a first responder. Why not pray for that firefighter, paramedic or EMT?
- You could, alternatively, also select the entire Fire agency or department for whom you can pray.
- For those in Christian schools, this could be a great opportunity to take this on as a class project to teach young students the value of praying for others. And the MOST important part of this project is in the next section-- where each firefighter, paramedic or EMT could receive a letter signed by a student telling him/her they are prayed for them.
.
Is there something else you could do?
Yes!
You could mail them this following letter to tell them you're praying for them.
Project Red Line has crafted a special, pre-formatted letter on PROJECT RED LINE letterhead which you can download at this link: https://projectredline.org/letters.html. We are asking you to download the letters, fill in the appropriate info and mail it to each peace officer or law enforcement agency you've selected. Your only financial cost in this endeavor is that of a postage stamp. View a sample of a completed letter here.
CAN YOU IMAGINE THE REACTION OF A FIREFIGHTER, PARAMEDICS or EMT WHO RECEIVES A LETTER FROM A TOTAL STRANGER OR STUDENT AND IS TOLD THAT YOU WILL BE PRAYING FOR THEM EVERY DAY?
